Bogi Takács has recommended "Ghost Tenders of Chornobyl" in eir newsletter. I'm quite flattered as Bogi is an excellent editor with very good taste.
It’s a reflection on the Russian invasion, but also on much more, and a meditation on caretaking for a changing nature. There’s both the grisly business of warfare, but also life goes on, in all its forms, including some new ones.
Also, a nice little writeup in Tangent Online.
this is an intriguing and melancholy ghost story, intimately connected to contemporary events, and worth reading.
